Business Partnership Testimonials
“I am Becky’s biggest fan (but I know she has lots!). When I first hired her back in February 2009, I had no real idea what to do with her. She was my first assistant, so I had to learn how to pass things off that I had been doing by myself.
I had her start out with helping me do a few things on Twitter, Facebook and my blog, and then began asking her to help me with lining up all my guest speakers for my WoMEN teleseminar series. What I noticed right off the bat working with Becky is that she takes the initiative to think things through that I didn’t ask her to. So while she was corresponding with my guest speakers, setting speaking dates for them, gathering all their information, she also took it upon herself to research more mompreneurs and make recommendations to me for possible guests on my show. She would surprise me by adding a “Become a Fan” badge to my FB page when she learned how to do it herself (even though I never asked her to, but she knew I would approve). She’s the kind of person who takes good direction, but needs no supervision. I always explain the “big picture” of my business so she knows what my priorities and focus are, and then we divide up the things that need to get done according to our interests and strengths. Becky is much more than a virtual assistant, of course. She is great about being organized, creating a process for your various tasks/roles/projects, and following-up on all the little pieces that might otherwise fall through the cracks, thereby taking the administration stuff off your plate so you can be the thought leader in your business. I know that I can hand projects off to her and that she’ll get them done, and I know I don’t need to micro-manage her to make sure it happens. It always does.
As one does with a wonderful business resource, I’m finding more and more parts of my business that Becky can do better than I can. In fact, I have charged her completely with creating my membership program. She is designing it, organizing it, and managing it. And she’s doing it beautifully. It’s such a load off my mind (and my time!) to know that I don’t have to learn how to use this new program to do something I’ve never done before. She accepted the responsibility, trained herself on the software, studied the tutorials, called the helpdesk, etc. to learn how to do it.
I am so impressed with her. I’ve told her multiple times that I feel very tempted to find ways to dominate her time so she only works for me…but that’s not her goal. She is an entrepreneur, just like we are, and she enjoys creating her business on her own terms. But that doesn’t stop me from seeing her as my right arm, another head on my shoulder, and a wonderful and trusted partner that I know I can rely on.
Becky is more than an average Virtual Assistant–she does all the usual stuff, but has grown into more of a Program Manager/Project Manager/Operations Manager for my business. I so highly recommend her because I think mompreneurs like us need the help of women like Becky who truly makes our businesses her priority.”

“I am an author, professional storyteller, and recording artist for children as well as a business consultant for other creative professionals. Rebecca Buscemi is one of the best things to happen to my business. As a busy, traveling professional, I really needed help managing my administrative and marketing duties. Rebecca has come through for me with flying colors every time. Not only does she perform every task I set before her with timeliness and precision, she often anticipates my needs and accomplishes tasks before I even ask! Rebecca is a creative self-starter, proposing ideas that have helped me streamline my business practices. In fact, Rebecca does not work FOR me; she works WITH me. She is an important member of my team. I appreciate her skills and talents. A large part her duties consist of personal contact with my clients. My business relies solely on how well we interact with my clients. I am so comfortable with Rebecca’s people skills that she is now handling all of my booking work, interacting with my clients from the beginning of the job through the end of the work. She handles sensitive issues deftly and with the utmost care. Whenever I need immediate assistance, Rebecca is always there to help me with an “Of Course I Can!” attitude. I am at ease when Rebecca is at the wheel. She is the best assistant I have ever had. Rebecca Buscemi comes with my highest personal recommendation. Rebecca is so good at her job that I have given her new initials to add to the end of her name — “S.A” for “Super Assistant.” It’s not a bird! It’s not a plane! It’s Rebecca Buscemi… to the rescue!” (Thank you, Rebecca, for all you do. I could not survive without you!)”
